On March 22, 2004 the Bengals announced a new logo for the Cincinnati Bengals. The new logo will be the letter B with the team's signature stripes. The new changes will include a new uniform design for home and away. The B logo will appear on the Bengals jersey at the neckline. The uniform changes include: New black and white jersey designs with a special occasion orange jersey which will replace the traditional black jersey up to twice a year. New striping will appear on the pants, with the additional option of wearing black pants. Additionally, orange topped socks will be an option. The Cincinnati Bengals Helmet will not change in appearance.
The new B logo will join the helmet and the Bengal head as official logos for the team.
